Steve’s Auto Sales McCausland, IA

Steve and Michele Lindle started Steve’s Auto Sales Inc. in 1971. At that time Steve was partners with his father Matt Lindle. Through the years Steve has continued to build a strong customer base with his business motto “We check ’em better and we back ’em better” We give what we call the “No argument warranty”. Being in the small town of McCausland we feel we have to give the customer the reason to come the extra mile and with this philosophy we have many customers and families we have sold and repaired cars for since we started in 1971.

Lloyd Claussen came to work for Steve in 1976 and is now the Service Manager. As most of you are aware, car servicing has changed over the years and now requires special training and computerized monitors making most repair jobs things that cannot be done at home. We stride to keep up with the changing times and are proud to be a “Napa Auto Care” center with advance equipment to handle all of your service and repair needs.

Mike Grosz joined our staff in 1996 as our body shop manager, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the field. We offer full service body work from insurance collision jobs to complete paint. Mike is ASC certified and continues to serve many satisfied customers.

In January 2021, Heidi Holst – Steve and Michele’s oldest daughter and her youngest son Brady Ernst purchased Steve’s Auto Sales from her parents.  Heidi was born and raised in the business and is so excited to continue the same level of service she has watched her parents work so hard to build.  From one month of age the car business has been her life so with that comes the connections to help with all of your car needs.  Brady started coming to work with his mom from when he was 3 years old and has basically never left.  Helping in the back to now buying cars with his Grandpa the thought of doing anything else has never even crossed his mind!

Cole Ernst joined our staff as a full time sales person in 2021.  Cole was born and raised here at Steve’s Auto Sales as well and loves dealing with people.  Cole will meet you here by appointment if you can’t  make it during regular business hours so make sure to let him know what you’re looking for.
